During the claims process, our representative asks the insured for permission to communicate via SMS using the following script:

Agent: As part of our claims process, we may need to send you text messages to keep you updated on the status of your claim. These messages will not include any marketing content. Do you agree to receive text messages from Fort Orange Claim Service, Inc?

Customer: Yes / No

Agent (if Yes): Thank you. You’ve subscribed to receive recurring messages from Fort Orange Claim Service, Inc. If at any time you wish to stop receiving these messages, please inform me, and you will be opted out. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

 

Agent (if No): Thank you for letting me know. We will use alternative methods to update you on your claim status.
